Original Painting

'Midnight', 100cm x 100cm x 4cm depth. The original painting! Acrylic on cotton stretched canvas. Painted in 2020 in the heart of my Undergrowth Series, this painting is now available from my personal collection. It will be hard to let this piece go but in my new location I don't have a space and it's time for it to go to a good home. Many prints of this piece are in circulation but this is a opportunity to have the original.

"'Midnight', is part of a series created during the 2020 global phenomenon amidst my personal isolation. A natural change in my process occured, a new depth and detail emerged. Here came the realisation of the connection between my emotion and these scenes from memory which very much focussed on the hidden beauty of the undergrowth; "the Unsung Hero of Nature". Midnight represents that, even where there is darkness, there is beauty and it is, revealed in the headlights.

This painting has a white painted stripwood studio made frame. If an alternative is required this can be easily removed by your framer.
