Palette Knives and Mindscapes

October 1, 2018

This year the blistering hot summer in the UK seems to have blended gently into Autumn with barely a cold day with a mixture clear blue skies, dramatic clouds that pass on by and bright sunshine that sits lower in the sky highlighting colour and casting long shadows from late afternoon. So for me, this means many long walks in the countryside and along the South East English coastline, absorbing everything along the way.

Back in the studio armed with palette knives, I pasted my landscape memories to with no place in particular in mind but just referencing blended memories, here's some pictures from a new short series. They slightly vary in sizes but most are 70cm x 70cm
