Discovering Fluid Art

October 1, 2017

This is something I had to try after seeing other Artist's beautiful creations with fluid paint.  My observations made me realise very quickly that I didn't just want to throw or pour paint mixed with various chemicals on a canvas and see what happens, even if 'what happens' is pretty amazing and beautiful. I wanted to manipulate the paint so that I was still it's master! I have been developing a technique which is so fun whilst exhausting and consuming. I don't leave the paintings for 9 or 10 hours at a time, constantly working with the paint to achieve something special. Sometimes I drain the paint off the canvas, speed dry it or use pipets to move it around. Initial attempts created a muddy mess! But here's a few that I am pleased with and happy to say some are already sold!
